USA & Canada...., 1800s to 1920s. Lot of financial ephemera including 6 issued stock certificates of The Rhode Island Public Service Co. representing denominations of 10, 20, 50, 100, and 500 shares, printed with ornate colored borders and detailed corporate text; a Wireless Telegraph Co. of Canada, Ltd. issued stock certificate dated July 25, 1923; an engraved portrait proof print likely related to security printing production; and a group of obsolete U.S. banknotes, checks, and related paper currency items, including examples from The Bank of the U.S., Presidents Bank, Bridgeport National Bank, and other 19th century financial institutions, along with a Series 1928 $5 Federal Reserve Note. Items show varying degrees of wear, folds, and aging consistent with circulated financial documents and early security printing material. Conditions range from Fair to Very Fine overall, with some faults typical for documents of this age. (17). Sold “AS IS” no returns accepted.
