Facsimile signature of Henry Morgenthau Jr. as Secretary of the Treasury. S/N L 127 983 989E in red. Fine-VF condition. BEP. Series E savings bonds were sold by the American government to support U.S. Armed Forces in World War II. Towards the end of the war, the bonds were renamed Victory Bonds.
