Allegorical seated Liberty with eagle, pole and cap, Specimen overprints, POC's, Rare Union Pacific certificate with only 3 found in archive, this is the only one available, XF condition. Unlisted early bond variety and date in Cox. ABNC. The text of the certificate states "the Union Pacific Committee, consisting of ....Chauncey M. Depew, Marvin Hughill and Oliver Ames (of the Credit Mobilier Scandal).....in the purchase of the Union Pacific Railway Company and in the payment or purchase of the First Mortgage Bonds of Union Pacific Railway...". Historic certificate and this is it.
