Jeptha Homer Wade (August 11, 1811 _ August 9, 1890) was an American industrialist, philanthropist, and one of the founding members of Western Union Telegraph. Henry Morrison Flagler was an American industrialist and a founder of Standard Oil, first based in Ohio. He was also a key figure in the development of the Atlantic coast of Florida and founder of what became the Florida East Coast Railway. He is known as the father of Miami and Palm Beach, Florida. Also signed by as trustee, John Harrington Farley, also known as "Honest John" Farley, was an American politician of the Democratic Party who served as the 27th and 34th mayor of Cleveland, Ohio, from 1883 to 1884 and from 1899 to 1900.
