Glassboro, NJ. Lot of 3 notes, Includes 5 cents, 10 cents, & $5, 1871-1877, Wait 684, 686, & Wait 690, R-6. Three pieces of merchant scrip, all printed in black, with blank reverses. The 5c scrip from Warrick & Stanger(Wait 684) was issued, and has a central eagle vignette. The 10c scrip(Wait 690) was issued by Whitney Glass Works, a company established in 1755 by the Whitney Brothers. It was issued, but has no vignettes. The $5 scrip(Wait 686) is an unissued piece from Warrick & Stanger with a vignette showing a man writing in a ledger. (3)
