Washington, D.C. 1934. Uncut, ungummed, and imperforate sheet consisting of 20 examples of the 1 Cent green National Parks souvenir sheet of 6 stamps. This sheet was produced under the authority of Postmaster General James A. Farley as part of the special imperforate printings distributed privately outside normal postal channels, and, as issued, lacks both perforations and gum. The complete original layout is preserved, showing broad margins, full selvage, and repeated inscriptions reading “Under Authority of James A. Farley, Postmaster General,” together with plate number and imprint information beneath each pane. Printed on the distinctive paper associated with Farley issues, the sheet presents a strong visual impression with uniform color and sharp detail. Light, even toning from storage is noted, but the sheet remains otherwise well preserved and would be Uncirculated with minimal handling. A classic and highly collectible U.S. exhibition-era philatelic item of the 1930s, prized for its scale, presentation, and association with Farley’s controversial special printings.
