Montreal, Toronto, British America, Canada, & Nova Scotia, ca.1860-1923. Lot of 5 Proof Vignettes, Includes: 3 ABNC Intaglio Vignettes printed in black on india paper mounted on thin manila card. Includes: Portrait of the Prince Albert, similar to the one used on the Province of Nova Scotia, 1861 to 1866, $5 P-S140 banknote, The Royal Bank of Canada, 1865, $2, P-S1944, and $5, P-S1944A, and numerous other banknote issues of Canada; Seal of Britania and Canada; and, a larger format vignette of "British-America" with soldier, sailor and lion in front of Royal Arms; Lot of 2 Proof vignettes, Includes, Bank of Montreal, Main Branch Office Building and the Toronto Branch Office Building, both are printed in dark green on india paper that is unmounted, 3.5 x 3 inches each, Both are in Uncirculated to CU condition. Both designs are found on the 1891; 1904; 1911; 1912; 1914, and 1923 issue banknote backs of most of the denominations. Vignettes are in AU to CU condition. (5). Sold "AS IS" no returns accepted.
