China, $1 Bond with 24 attached coupons redeemable for 0.035 cents each. The bond is payable at 7% and may be used for paying taxes, maritime duties and related items. The coupons were also usable as cash, Green on light orange underprint with large red seal on face, back blue on pink underprint, S/N 0006889, VF condition. Rare bonds for a very low amount and first time seen by cataloger. Label from Pogrebetsky who evidently tried putting groups of notes together as a souvenir with label glued on the coupons.
